Giving Opportunities

Achieve Your Philanthropic Goals – Establish a Donor- Advised Fund

Direct your philanthropy to the causes that matter the most to you by establishing a donor-advised fund (DAF) at WFSA. A DAF allows you to make a charitable contribution to WFSA, receive an immediate tax deduction for your gift, and then recommend grants from the fund over time. Donors can contribute to the fund as frequently as they like, and then recommend grants to their favorite charitable organizations whenever it makes sense for them.

When opening a Donor-Advised Fund:

  • Only a minimum of $2,500 required
  • You receive access to our investor expertise which includes a portfolio of funds reviewed with a gender and racial equity lens
  • You get freedom to recommend grants to your favorite nonprofits or receive recommendation from WFSA’s experienced staff

Make a Planned Gift

Make a planned legacy gift by working with us to name WFSA as the beneficiary of assets such as an estate, qualified retirement plans, IRA accounts, or life insurance policies. Join us to achieve your philanthropic vision and create impact. When you invest with us, you invest in the future of women and girls in Arizona.

Establish an Endowment

An endowment is a type of fund that is set up to produce income for charitable purposes. A typical endowment fund will distribute a portion of the earnings annually for charitable purposes (its principal will never be distributed). An endowment fund is likely to remain permanent as long as the principal is never invaded, and as long as the distribution rate reflects the long-term growth patterns of investments. The WFSA Endowment is a well-established fund with a successful portfolio. Donations of any amount are welcomed to be a part of our endowment, or, we are happy to discuss with you how to start your own endowment to create support for women and girls into perpetuity with a gift of $10,000 or more.

Have Your Employer Match Your Gift
