Social Justice Event Sponsorships Awarded

October 23, 2026

WFSA is proud to announce $19,000 awarded in Fall 2026 Social Justice Event Sponsorships to community-led organizations across Arizona.

From Douglas to Flagstaff, Tucson to Phoenix, these partners are building the spaces where our communities heal, gather, create, organize, and thrive. Their events center Black, Indigenous, Latiné, trans, queer, and gender-expansive people, and they tackle real barriers head on: access to reproductive and maternal health care, period poverty, economic opportunity, and the right to be seen and celebrated.

Why WFSA sponsors events

Because movements are built in rooms full of people. Community gatherings are where folks find a doula, meet a mentor, share a poem for the first time, or grieve alongside people who understand. These are the moments that build power, and they deserve to be resourced.

This is trust-based philanthropy in action: flexible funding, fewer hoops, and deep respect for the people closest to the work. We’re more than funders. We’re connectors, amplifiers, and co-conspirators, and we can’t wait to show up for these partners now and into 2027.
